Mindy Opper is a Family Practice Physician Assistant and Ayurvedic Lifestyle Consultant.  She has been a primary care/family practice PA for almost 22 years.  Her focus over the years has been in women's health and reproductive care, along with primary care for families.  She has also nurtured a belief in integrative medicine for as long as she has been practicing health care.

She has worked mainly in Missoula, helping to take care of the people of her community.  Opportunities for work have been at Planned Parenthood, private family practice, Partnership Health Center and Blue Mountain Clinic.  She has absolutely loved being able to work in diverse settings, each place giving her more fullness to the experience of being a health care provider.

It recently became apparent to her that it was time for her to get more education in integrative care.  Interested in ayurvedic medicine, she attended school in California over a seven month time frame to study the foundations and basic practices of ayurveda.

Her goals and intent in being part of Red Willow are to practice quality medicine, both preventative and wellness based.  She utilizes her allopathic (western) skills and combining them with ayurvedic lifestyle management for those who want it.

She truly believes that each one of us has the innate wisdom and abilities to heal from within, on a physical, emotional, and spiritual level.  We need all of these levels to achieve our best, health and other wise.  She has always felt that by utilizing multiple resources from complimentary treatment options, a person may achieve better results than by one way only.  She looks forward to being able to offer these services to our community.
