Introduction to Meditation

Tejavani/Cheryl McMillan is a member of the Triratna Buddhist order, ordained in 2009.  She worked for many years as a Family Nurse Practitioner in Missoula, San Antonio, Texas and Santa Fe, New Mexico.  Most recently she worked at Community Medical Center in the Rehabilitation Unit, providing in-patient rehabilitation services to people with a multitude of disabilities.  She was an associate professor of nursing at Montana State University and the University of Texas at San Antonio, and worked in Public Health Nursing, Division of Indian Health in New Mexico.

She has been a regular practitioner of meditation for 16 years and has taught meditation classes to students for the past 13 years.  The meditations she teaches come from the Buddhist tradition, but are accessible to anyone who wishes to learn them.  Students from all traditions are welcome to her class.
