Aimee Ryan is passionate about co-creating a world where everyone is empowered to show up as their fullest selves, where everyone's needs matter, and where there is space for all voices to be heard.  She is the founder and owner of Core Connections, a consulting company that offers conflict transformation and mediation services, Nonviolent Communication (NVC) trainings, group facilitation and organizational development, as well as corporate wellness packages, which bring together collaborative coaching, yoga, and mindfulness practices.  Aimee has experience working with nonprofit organizations, for-profit companies, schools, prisons, communities, families, and individuals.

Aimee has been studying yoga, mindfulness, and meditation practices for over 17 years.  As a Certified Nonviolent Communication Trainer with the Center for Nonviolent Communication, she is the first and only CNVC Certified Trainer in Montana.  She has been studying, integrating, and sharing NVC since 2010, and continues to do so through workshops, trainings, and community building projects.  As a Certified Yoga Teacher and a Certified Power Pilates Instructor, Aimee brings a unique perspective to her offerings, infusing both body awareness and mindfulness practices in her workshops, trainings, and facilitations.  Aimee is also a Certified Mediator with the Community Dispute Resolution Center of Missoula County.

Previously, Aimee was the Executive Director of the Montana World Affairs Council, a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing international education opportunities to classrooms and communities across the Big Sky.  One of her most significant contributions at MWAC was creating Council in the Classroom, a long-distance learning program bringing international dignitaries and experts into Montana classrooms through video-conferencing technology.  She graduated with high honors from the University of Montana with a B.A. in Political Science - Comparative Government and International Relations and a Minor in Philosophy.

Aimee serves as a member of the board of directors for both the Feathered Pipe Foundation and the Community Dispute Resolution Center of Missoula County.  Originally from Helena, MT, she now lives in Missoula.
